Vibration doesn't work properly

Hello guys,

I'm having a very old problem but it seems that I can't get rid of it, my iPhone doesn't vibrate while having incoming calls, despite that the vibration motor works fine on other modes like silent and on other phone situations.

this problem started with me when I had an iPhone 5s, and then I changed later to iPhone 6 plus and the problem existed, and recently I just bought an iPhone 12 and the problem still exists.

it seems like a software bug and it transfers with every backup I do in order to transfer to another iPhone.

could anyone help me out overcome this annoying issue?

Hi elbando_3,

Thanks for reaching out about getting your iPhone to vibrate for notifications. We can help with this. Since this has happened through changing devices, the best isolation step to take is to restore your iPhone using a computer which installs a new version of software and removes your backup. Then set it up as new (don't restore the backup) and test to see if the issue continues.
