Erase all content and settings NOT working on Apple Watch

Good Morning,


I have a Apple Watch which is currently unpaired with my new iPhone.


I no longer possess the old iPhone which was originally paired with the iPhone.


The old iCloud PW in the iPhone Watch App is also not known...I can't completely pair with the new iPhone since I don't know this PW.


The Apple Watch was recently reset. However, the Watch doesn’t present the option to “Erase all content and settings” after holding down / releasing the POWER OFF message on the Watch according to this article:

Hello,


Regarding https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201487, I cannot change the password iPhone password as I obtained the watch from another person who has a different Apple ID.


Regarding https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205189, the Watch and my new iPhone are both full charged but this article is not applicable.


I just want to Erase everything and start all over again but it won't let me. Please see again the details I provided in my original post.

I'm not able to reset/change the Apple ID because the Watch is configured for the Apple ID of the previous owner.


However I was able to choose the "Request Activation Lock Support" option since I have the receipt and the serial number.

They said they're working on the request
