My iPhone 7plus camera isn’t working it’s just weeks old. Tried resting, restarting, updating software but all in vain. Help please

Yes, there are still iPhone 7’s for sale. But not by Apple approved resellers, and/or not new. They are either pre-owned or refurbished. The fact that they come in a box proves nothing; any phone can be put in a box and shrink-wrapped. And even if you find one that actually is new, it was manufactured 2 or more years ago, so there’s a good chance it’s battery has degraded. The honest resellers of refurbished iPhone 7’s (like Best Buy) offer their own warranty on the phone. It sounds like you got a phone with a defective camera, so take it back to where you bought it and have them replace it.

Your phone is a lot more than 2 weeks old. Apple stopped making them almost 2 years ago.
