I recently got a subscription with a prepaid visa and have since taken the card off since the payment was made, because it was out of money. I have disposed of the card and now when ever i try to download anything wether it be something I already purchased, or something free it prompts me with verification required. There is no way for me to add any payment methods to my account other than prepaids and paypal but when i try to use paypal it forces me to put a card on, a card i do not own or am able to get because i am still a minor so i cannot go get a card to put on my paypal. Im getting rather upset about this and have tried signing out of my apple account and into another one entirely and it still does not fix my problem. There is also not a “None” option when changing my payment method.

In almost all cases Apple requires a valid payment method such as a credit car be present on your account before letting you make a purchase, even if your purchase will be paid for with Apple ID balance. The resolution to this issue is often making sure you have entered a credit card or other valid method of payment* even if you don't plan on needing to use it.

If there is an option to select "Review" or "Continue", select that and enter valid payment information if required (you may need to enter your Apple ID password first). If there's problems doing this:

Tap: Settings > [your name at the top] > Media & Purchases > View Account > Review Apple ID.

If you continue to have problems contact Official Apple Support - Select your region from the list and then your country from the pop-up window. If you do not see your country, see if there is an "other" listing for that region.

If you are a minor, see if you can get your parents to use their credit card either directly, or by setting up Family Sharing and optionally Ask to Buy.

Approve what kids buy with Ask to Buy - https://support.apple.com/HT201089 - Family Organizer receives requests by default, but another parent or guardian can be assigned permission.
