Why is the Enter key on my MacBook Pro M1 different?

If it's because the language, I ask myself: Is it really necessary?
It looks like a kind of design bug to me.

It's because of the specified language layout. Some Languages use the Ansi layout others use the ISO layout.

It would be because of the language keyboard design. Different markets have different standardized keyboard layouts. We can't guess Apple's policy here. But you can always add an external keyboard if you don't like your computer's layout.
