'sandbox' extension problem with Finder

For some reason, a sandbox extension is causing my Finder window to freeze for some seconds, possibly a minute.

i can't seem to find this sandbox extension. i have 2 apps that have finder integration. one of them has a Finder extension that appears in sysprefs and it is disabled by default. the other does not have an extension, but appears in the 'services' section of the menu when I right-click on an object in a finder window.

any ideas on how to figure out what is causing this error ?

i am trying to pinpoint the cause of the 'sandbox' extension message that I see in Console.

i haven't had problems otherwise with these apps you suggested i remove. if i am able to prove - via etrecheck output - that one of these apps are causing my issue, i will not consider uninstalling them. i see no indicators with the way i use Finder and these apps that suggest I have an issue caused by them.

i have used etrecheck before and it never did help provide definitive solutions to the problems i've had in the past. then there's the 'option' to buy the Power User Package, with 'hopes' of uncovering a detailed problem that's hidden with the non-paid version ... maybe some folks on here have an interest in that.
