lost AirPods

I have lost my AirPods cannot locate them in find my - it writes to me that it's offline and cannot play the sound. Could you please help me to find out at least where was the last location?

Thank you so much in advance!

Using the features offered by Find My is the only way Apple offers for tracking or locating a lost or missing device. There is no other Apple service that can find, track, or otherwise flag your device for you. If they do not work then you will have to resort to conventional methods for locating lost items. For Find My, ALL the requirements in this list must be fulfilled for Find My to even have a chance to work:

- Find My [device] must have been set up before they went missing.

- They must be in range (<~150') or all you will see is "last location".

- They must be charged (see the link for details).

- They are not inside their Charging Case (Airpods Max Smart Case is not the same thing.).

- They have not been reset by somebody who found them.

- To find a single Airpod, put the one you have in the charging case first.

- You cannot track a lost case with Find My.

Airpods won't show in Find My if they were not set up in Find My first.

The support article also tells you how you can order a replacement.

"You might see the last known location."

The above article does not mention this but what is discussed in this link: https://www.apple.com/icloud/find-my-iphone/ may apply to Airpods too:

"Apple receives location information only when you actively locate your device, mark it as lost, or enable Send Last Location. Location data is ... kept for no more than 24 hours." However https://support.apple.com/HT207581 says:

If your AirPods, AirPods Pro, or AirPods Max are offline

If your AirPods, AirPods Pro, or AirPods Max are out of range or need to charge, you might see their last known location, "No location found," or "Offline." You also won't see the location for your AirPods or AirPods Pro if they're inside their Charging Case. You can see AirPods Max in Find My for up to 18 hours inside their Smart Case. Outside of their Smart Case, you can see them for 72 hours. Learn more about AirPods Max battery life.
