Hi Baofeng,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
We are happy to provide you with information about connecting a stereo or third party accessory to your iPad. If the speakers you are using have a connection for USB-C that should work but you may need to check with the manufacturer of the stereo. You might also be able to purchase an adapter to be able to connect the devices. Check out Pair a third-party Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and Play audio from iPad on HomePod and other wireless speakers for more information.
Cheers!
Mario49 Thanks for your reply. I have a USB C to RCA adapter and if I plug it into my iPad (USB C) and plug the RCA plugs into my amplifier l get no sound-Do I need something else to make it work?
Thanks again
Hi Baofeng,
Thank you for your follow up. That is great that you found an adapter! You do not have to do anything on your iPad, however, you may have to do something with your speakers, or it may not be compatible. We recommend you contact the manufacturer RCA for more information. Check out the RCA website.
You might also want to check out the HomePod, which is a compatible speaker to the iPad.
Cheers!
