If this is an HP Neverstop Laser 1001nw model, it is supported as a network wired/wireless printer via Apple's built-in AirPrint drivers, and no HP software/drivers are necessary. AirPrint does not support a USB connection on this device.


Provided you have the means to configure the 1001nw as a networked device, and with it powered, visit System Preferences > Printers & Scanners panel. Right-click on the device printer entry and select Reset printing system… This will allow you to re-add the device with Airprint instead of HP Neverstop drivers. Test print.
