Is keeping the power plugged in while using the M1 MacBook Air in clamshell mode bad for battery life?
I can only use the MacBook Air in clamshell mode while the power is connected (if I’m not mistaken), will it shorten the battery life if the power is always plugged in and constantly charging to 100%? I’ve read that MacBooks have the optimize battery life feature built in, but just wanted to confirm that it doesn’t hurt the battery.
also, should I always keep the power cord plugged in even when I’m not using it, or should I disconnect?
