iPhone 12 Pro mic/ sound issues on video calls - FaceTime, WhatsApp

I’ve been having issues with my iPhone ever since I got it. When I’m on a FaceTime video call or a WhatsApp video call, the people on the other end complain that my voice cuts out. At times they can’t hear me at all or every other word that I say gets dropped. I’ve gotten a replacement new iphone from Apple but the new phone also have the same issue. Is there a way to fix this or some hardware issue ? Would appreciate any help.

If you have a distorted Sound issue on your iPhone --> If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad

If you only hear through speakerphone mode --> If your iPhone is stuck in headphone mode - Apple Support

If the other person is not able to listen to you then please click this--> If the microphones on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch aren't ...

If the above options do not mitigate the issues then Contact your carrier and then Contact Apple Support
