The Apple TV is a small box you plug into your television and connect to the internet, which enables you to purchase or rent movies from the iTunes Store and make use of other streaming services such as Amazon Prime Video, BBC iPlayer (UK) and so on.

Apple TV+ is a subscribed to streaming service providing original films and series made by Apple: it can be subscribed to on some televisions, Macs and other devices, and on the Apple TV box described above.
