iPod 1 gen makes a sad face when turned on
I want to know who knows why my iPod 1 gen is making a sad face everytime I turn it on.

Some part of the iPod Classic first generation hardware has failed.
A failed hard disk would be a possibility, and a fairly common one.
There are replacement hard disks around, if that’s the issue here.
