Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

Switching carriers won't help with fixing Siri.

First, review If "Hey Siri" isn't working on your iPhone or iPad. Next, check that Siri has access to the microphones, and that they are working: If the microphones on your iPhone aren't working - Apple Support.

Also, make sure your iPhone is fully up-to-date: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. It might also help to Restart your iPhone - Apple Support.
