I am bothered by not being able to access my mail on my iPhone as the Mail app is corrupted by gmail and I can’t take it off.

Extremely annoying the Mail app for Apple will work for Google Mail but if you delete it trying to get access to your Apple mail only and then reinstall it you get access to everything but your Apple mail, it’s gone.

iPhone 6, iOS 12

Remove your email account and set it up again

Make sure that all of your emails are there or make sure that your email is saved somewhere other than your device. On your device, go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts. Tap the email account that you want to remove. Tap Delete Account.

If you can't send an email on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

  1. When you make an iOS or iPadOS backup in iCloud or iTunes, it backs up your mail settings, but not your email. ...
  2. Make sure your device is connected to the Internet.
  3. Check with your email service provider to find out if there's a service outage.

Thank you for telling me my emails were not being backed. When Google Alphabet took over my yahoo email all of my emails were scrambled including gmail, including Apple [the selfie I use for my Apple ID was stolen as well and has an alien commie ghoul website stamped on it] my 3 msn email addresses were united as one in an earlier attempt to steal my realtor, com account which they fnally accomplished by 1: sabotaging my HP laptop and then my RCA Galilleo Pro and2. when they weren't able to steal my Xfinity account, the enemy (Bill Gates) had me illegally evicted from my apartment and substituted another computer for my home computer so now I cannot log into Xfinity because of the alien computer takeover. 3: After excluding me from my account when I lose covid wifi relief, I will have access to Wifi Hotspots only, at $10 per hour 4: They were finally able to steal Realtor.com account.

I am bothered by not being able to access my mail on my iPhone as the Mail app is corrupted by gmail and I can’t take it off.
