For a while now, the App Store updates are failing to work. They attempt to download and install but get stuck part way. Anyone else experiencing this?
For the last couple weeks, my Updates screen has looked something like this:
MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.4
zip and archive (just in case) and delete the offending app(s) from /Applications. Log out from App Store, reboot the router and the Mac, and then try again to download the offending app(s).
Agree with @ Matti Haveri and added Any Third Party Applications that will interfere with the normal operation of the OS, alter, modify, remove or delete or attempt to do so is an invitation for disaster and may require a Reinstallation of the OS. This will include AntiViri=us Software and VPNs ( yes VPNs too )
