Apple CarPlay

I have an IPhone 12. I only have the ability to delete apps and cannot add any other app. I am only given the ability to delete. I would like to add Google Maps and Waze. Again, all I have the ability to do is to delete them. See screen shot below. How can I add apps to CarPlay.
