I have a small black semi-circle in the top left edge of the electronic display of my iPhone 12 Pro screen, There is no crack in the glass screen or any sign of physical damage. The phone is 6 months old and still under warranty. Would the black spot on the display be covered under warranty?

Apple repaired it under warranty, with no charge to me.
Manufacturing defects are covered under warranty unless any of the trauma or water detectors have been triggered. Take it or send it to an Apple repair store. Personally I would not accept this as "cosmetic" either.

I have this exact same issue. I spoke to Apple on the phone and have sent the phone off for an assessment. I haven’t dropped or damaged it either and my screen is almost exactly like yours. Just following up on what Apple did for you?

I have the exact same spot on my phone. I've booked an appointment to take it in. This is annoying. Hopefully I have no issues getting this fixed.
