Removing Parallels and Installing Bootcamp

Hi there,

I have parallels purely to run software (Revit) and it is too resource heavy so I want to run it on bootcamp instead. What is the best way to remove and replace with bootcamp. I don't have data specifically saved on my windows partition. Apart from my Revit files.

Save your Revit files to an external disk.
In Parallels, remove the VM that you are currently using the steps in https://kb.parallels.com/en/5029
Install Windows 10 on your Mac with Boot Camp Assistant - Apple Support
You may need to talk to Microsoft and re-activate the Windows license from Parallels to Bootcamp and Activate Windows
Install Revit and restore yoru files
If you need to recreate the VM, import the Bootcamp partition as a Windows VM in Parallels

Parallels does not make a partition. It is just a file on disk. Delete the file and uninstall Parallels according to the Parallels instructions. Use Boot Camp Assistant to install Windows: Boot Camp - Official Apple Support
