HomePod has died after 14.6 update, showing no sign of power and can’t be reset. Genius in apple store suggested a post to highlight the issue to apple as other forums and news sites have picked up the story.
Has anyone else experienced bricking with 14.6

Call support. I am currently dealing with this with them. I sent them some videos of what is happening at their request and it’s not only escalated but the vids are going to the engineers. Talk on the phone is probably swapping it out.
Apple does not read theses forums. Get Support to talk to Apple directly.
This has just happened to me. I have 8 homepods. 2 of them are paired and default output to the apple tv in my bedroom. One of that pair is now totally bricked. I just noticed it 2 nights ago when the volume -+ where blinking white. They are all running 14.6
Last night, one of my HomePods stopped playing and exhibited the blinking + and - symbols. The failed Pod was one of a stereo pair linked to my ATV4K. The Pod would not respond to a restart but recovered after being unplugged and plugged back in. I also had to restart the other one of the pair to get it to play again but it didn't do the blinking thing and I didn't have to unplug it. I've never seen this before. All devices are on version 14.6. Lots of buzz about bricked HomePods on various forums so it makes me a bit nervous.
I don't think there's much point in calling Apple as I don't have a problem at this point. Everything is working fine. I can't imagine that they would have much interest in the event I experienced as the HomePod recovered after being unplugged.
