I understand that you do not wish to receive emails from your Yahoo account on your iPhone 11. It appears that you have Yahoo email account on your MacBook Air which you would like to keep.

Note that email accounts are set separately and individually on your devices. You have your Yahoo email account set up on your iPhone 11 and your MacBook Air. You can, therefore, simply remove the Yahoo email account from your iPhone 11's mail app. Note that this will completely remove your Yahoo email account from your iPhone 11.

You did not mention which iOS version you are using and I am going to assume that you are using iOS version 14.x

Open Settings ➔ Mail ➔ Accounts ➔ Yahoo ➔ Delete Account.

Email does not sync from device to device. It syncs between devices and the mail server. What is the end result you are trying to achieve?

Do not add the Yahoo mail account to the iPhone if you just want it on the MacBook Air.

Thank you guys for answering.

I would like to keep my old Macbook Air (Yahoo) email separate from iphone 11 so as kind of a back up used to be, I am a senior and don't know much tech. I have been using iphone 6S many years and just upgrade to iphone 11, have been spending past days figuring out how to set back iphone 6S email account to iphone 11 using POP/SMTP but not successful. Also I do not use icloud, really headache.... Do not like Yahoo email account on iphone 11.

Yes, I can delete the Yahoo email on iphone 11, but then i do not get any emails from this account, have been using same email account address ( @rogers.com ) in last 20 years which used to show on individually on my Macbook Air and iphones 2, 4 and 6. Now not working on both IMAP and/or POP settings, would it be Rogers.com email account does not support on iphone 11, and force everyone to go through Yahoo on the same server, anyone knows?

I’m really confused. Yahoo is not Rogers. They are two different email providers. And both work on all iPhones.
