How best to set up a new iMac?
I am about to transfer files from a 2011 Mac Mini to a new iMac. I use Time Machine, the old mac mini is very slow. Is it better or faster to transfer from TimeMachine, or via WiFi between old and new?

Using your Time Machine backup is the fastest, easiest, most reliable and best way to migrate to the new iMac. Just connect your Time Machine backup to the new iMac during the initial setup and follow the on screen instructions.

Don't use Wi-Fi! Connect the Time Machine drive to the new iMac, and during Setup Assistant, follow the prompts to move data from the Time Machine drive.
