“Move Device Closer to Continue” but it is as close as possible.

I can’t move any closer but error message says “Move Device Closer” - how can I get started again?

Mac mini, OS X 10.10

iPhone to iPhone, there are three ways,

Quick Transfer --> Use QuickStart to transfer data to a new iPhone, iPad or iPod ...
Restore from iCloud Backup --> Restore or set up your device from an iCloud backup - Apple ...
Restore from iTunes backup --> Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in iTunes on PC ...
