Just wanting to get offline more easily so looking a buying an old iPod and wanted to know would a iPod classic 5 or 6thGen be compatible with my Macbook Pro running Majova 10.14.6?
Any insights would be welcome

Edited response: I see now you say "classic" which suggests these are pre-iOS models. Maybe somebody else can chip in but I seem to recall reading somewhere that those were only supported up to a certain version of iTunes that probably isn't the one you would find on a Mojave Mac.
