Mac Music (Big Sur): While playing to Airplay, no audio, after switching to mini player's full screen mode

Problem:

Mac Music stops producing sound (on either the internal speakers or the Airplay speaker) when playing to AirPlay 2 (Sonos One - but same behavior for Apple TV 4k) speaker & then switching to mini player full screen mode Is this a known issue? Any steps I might take to fix this?

Big Sur 11.4

Mac Music with an Apple Music subscription
