Safari “cannot connect to server”, apps have “no internet connection”
iPhone 8, Verizon’s Wireless, 3 bars of cell service, full WiFi signal, 5G.
On this device Safari keeps saying, “Safari cannot open page because it could not connect to the server.” Apps show “no internet connection.” I have “WiFi assist” turned on for safari so if cell service is weak, I should still be able to browse with WiFi. I have toggled airplane mode off and on, disconnected and reconnected WiFi, reset network settings via the General tab in settings and I have cleared history and website data via the safari tab in settings. No luck.
I am currently using my iPad connected to the same WiFi and Verizon cell service, works just fine.
Any help is much appreciated.
