A toothpick cleaning does not work very well, and the best Apple gives on their FAQs is


'Remove any debris from the charging port on the bottom of your device'


which is useless.

Since you know it lasts way longer that would mean you have had it done so how did they do it when you were there.

Last time I saw them do one was with a plastic toothpick. What are you getting in the port? Perhaps you should invest in a plug to cover it.
