How do I completely wipe/format my MacBook Pro and restart with a new image with latest OS?

Option-Command-R during startup until you see the spinning world. Choose your Wi-Fi network and then type your password.


Once you are in Recovery Mode you need to format your hard drive using "Disk Utility", then you go to "Reinstall macOS Big Sur" to perform the installation of the OS.
