Two phones share the same Apple ID. Photos taken on phone a show up on phone b, but photos taken on phone b do not show up on phone a. How can this be fixed?

Enable Photos in iCloud. See if it then works.


Accessing Photos On an iPhone:

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Your Name (Top Item)
  3. Tap: iCloud
  4. Tap: Photos
  5. Enable: iCloud Photos


II. On a Mac:

Access from iCloud, Manually:

  1. Go To: icloud.com
  2. Select: Photos
  3. Download: the Photos

It sounds like you are syncing contacts at with iCloud. Settings>Your Name>iCloud>Apps using iCloud>Contacts. If you have that turned on, that means you are syncing contacts with iCloud. If you are, that means that whatever you do on one device is reflected on all devices that are using the same Apple ID and iCloud account.
