There is no option for other apps under Face ID and passcodes. How can I set up Face ID for my banking app? I was able to use it on my old phone. This is iPhone 12.

Any 3rd party app which will let you use Face ID has the setting to turn that on inside the app itself.
Only those apps developers can give you a proper answer, or, it may depend on specific settings inside those apps.
One of my bank is still showing Touch (instead of Face) ID in their app, but when I tap there I can use Face ID.
