"Flexgate" issue for 2018 13" Touch Bar MacBook Pro

Is Apple going to acknowledge the "Flexgate" issue on MacBooks 2016-2020 or do I and tens of thousands of other customers have to spend 600-850€ (740 in my case) for 2000+ (2250 in my case) defective machines with design and manufacturing display flaw? Release a free display replacement program ASAP or give the money we have given you for display replacement back, since a 6€ cable problem turns into a 600+€ disaster, as the defective cable is attached to the display and cannot be replaced separately.
