Can I upgrade a MAC pro 1.1 to run High Sierra or Mojave

Can a MacPro 1.1 be upgraded to High Sierra, to enable it to run more recent software. It is currently running on El Capitan

Thanks

So it appears someone, somewhere along the line applied a hack that extends the firmware to a later version. This expanded firmware does not fit in the built-in ROM, so the excess is loaded into system RAM, and may appear as if it were a custom EFI or custom boot-loader.

I recommend you be very careful with your boot drive, and have a complete clone of it on hand. If you lose the image on your boot drive, it will take some work to re-apply those hacks.

But no, that computer can not go any farther than 10.11 El Capitan.
