airpods case wont charging or flash light

I had my AirPods for about 5 months and now my AirPods case won’t charge or even flash a light. And when I open my case it won’t even connect my AirPods. The only way I can connect my AirPods is to use my other AirPods case to put them in connect them that way, but the second I put them in the original case it doesn’t want to work again.

One of my AirPods will not connect No matter what I do, one of my AirPods will not connect. I have reset the AirPods and updated my iPhone. I have also tried connecting on other devices that are not apple and I have the same issue. Whenever I do connect to my iPhone, the popup shows that the airpod that won't connect is charged but that it is not charging currently even though it is in the case.
