Wanting to delete the Amazon app on my iPad Pro because when I search in Safari and click on an Amazon link I DO NOT want it to open in the app. Even if I say cancel or open it STILL WILL. It is annoying af. I have latest iOS as of today, 7/11/2021.

I figured it out and it was me that set it to not let apps be deleted. Settings > Privacy > Apps > Do Not Delete (I am going from memory here as I am on my computer) Ty for your interest in helping me though. I do appreciate your time.
