Apple Watch SE too dim

Why is the screen on the Amy new SE watch so dim? I know it is the ambient light sensor, but it is horribly annoying. Anyway to shut this off? Thanks.

How do I get my Apple Watch to stay bright all the time? I never liked the idea of seeing a blank black screen on my wrist but then saw there was now the ‘Always On’ function YAY! So I bought the series 6. BUT why then does it dim a bit when not directly facing me ☹️? I wanted it to be fully on, whatever brightness I chose, so that for example whenever I’m sat down and it catches my eye I see the nice bright pretty screen and not a grim dark thing on my arm 🤦‍♀️. Apple Watch screen dimming my 35 day old watch is constantly dimming...why?? It requires me to shut if fully off then back on to get a normal brightness. Also seems to freeze more than my prior watch. NOT satisfied with the upgraded purchase!! [Re-Titled by Moderator]

This is the ambient light sensor kicking in,this adjusts your screen brightness to match the surrounding area,there is no setting or configuration for this.
