WACOM tablet / driver issues Intuos Pro

I have a Wacom Intuos Pro that worked fine, but I haven't used it in a while. After plugging it in again, it wouldn't work. I tried everything to no avail. Finally, after about 2 months of pain, I figured it out. Hopefully, my experiences will help because I can tell you Apple and Wacom support will just recommend things like wiping your computer clean, throwing out the hardware and buying a new tablet, blaming it on another company, etc. - basically all terrible ideas.

The problem for me was I had CleanMyMac software installed and that was preventing the tablet from functioning. Make sure you don't have any software that blocks Wacom software from starting up.

This was after I tried installing and deleting the drivers a million times in all various ways and adding to the "Security and Privacy Settings" on the mac.

Here's how to do that, in case your issue is a security / re-install driver problem. Apple's security protocols now cause a lot of things to get blocked or jammed up.

Finally, Here's some more troubleshooting that I found helpful if you really have a hardware problem with your tablet and need some hail mary opitons.
