I’m having this problem with Siri and have done all the steps available to fix the problem. I’m running iOS 14.6.

That’s a security feature to keep your calendar private. Without it anyone near you could say “Hey Siri, what’s on my calendar”?
And my whole point is that you shouldn’t do anything distracting, such as checking you calendar or even thinking about your calendar while driving. Check it before you start driving; it won’t change while you are driving.

I can understand it’s a security issue, but what if I’m driving and need to check my appointments and calendar??
You shouldn’t be checking appointment and calendar when you are driving.
That’s my whole point is to be able to check my calendar hands-free while driving so I do not have to use my phone
Siri will not answer me when asking what’s on my calendar when my iPhone is locked.
