Step 4 under "How to create a to-do list", I do not have a "Check button." Is there a way to turn on the Check button feature?

I have the same problem. My iPhone 11 is updated to iOS 14.7, I follow all the steps, but there is no checkmark icon in my notes app. Can you help?
