HDMI to VGA adapter does not work

I was using two adapters, one for usb C to HDMI, and another one for HDMI to VGA (Me screen only have Display Port and VGA) and it was working fine, but one day when I connect my macbook air to the screen the screen does not show anything and it is not recognized, I think my cable was damaged, so I try the HDMI to VGA in other computer with the same screen and worked, then, I try my usb C to HDMI with a coworker screen and it worked. I think it is an issue with the new M1 macbooks and VGA connection.

(Note: I already checked cables and try with different adapters and screens)
