Public Holidays in calendar shows wrong region

Hi I’ve set Australia as my region under Settings Language & Region, however my iPhone calendar only temporarily shows Australian public holidays before it reverts to Malaysian public holidays. I used to reside in Malaysia previously. How to fix this issue?

If you open the Calendars app, then tap Calendars at the bottom, a list of the calendars should appear. See if there is a Malaysian public holidays calendar. If so, tap the check mark on the left side to deselect that calendar. Then check for an Australian public holidays calendar and see if it is checked. If that calendar isn't there, tap Add Calendar.

Thanks Eric. I’ve done this and my calendar always reverts to Malaysian calendar after some time (within a couple of weeks). I’m always having to re-select Australia as my region under settings to enable Australian calendar in the calendar app. I do this exercise every two weeks because the calendar always automatically reverts to Malaysia!
