Deleting Empty Playlist Folder

How do I go about deleting empty playlist folder? I have tried on mac and iPhone and cannot figure out this issue.

Robbo,

On the Mac: If the playlist folder is open, click the three dots and choose "delete from library." Or you can right-click the playlist folder name in the sidebar and you will also have a choice to :delete from library."
