windows 10 education download fail

Hi, I'm trying to download Windows 10 Education from the MS website. Every time I do so, the download completes, but the manager reads "failed." My understanding of the Boot Camp process, is that I must download the Windows iso, then create a bootable drive in MacOS which includes the relevant media and support files before running bootcamp. MS support says I need to download Windows on a PC and put on a thumbrive before using Bootcamp. Thanks.
