Is this model have a trade in value? If not , the best solution for upgrade. I usually go to Best Buy et let them transfer everything over to new PC. If I buy it directly from Apple on line store, how does everything get transferred over to new pc?

For moving your data, the easiest way is to plug-in your Time Machine backup drive and move data from that during Setup Assistant. If you don't have a Time Machine drive, connect the new and old Mac directly together with an Ethernet cable and transfer data with Migration Assistant during Setup Assistant.
