Can’t set time on Apple watch

Hiya, my son’s Apple Watch (SE) is set to LA and is set to automatically set the time and we cannot change it to the london time zone.

Thanks everyone, I tried resetting it too. I have just come off the phone to Apple who were very helpful. In the end I needed to unpair the watch from my phone and start again and this has resolved the issue 😆.

Turn off Screen Time. Then restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone:

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Then try to set the time and turn Screen Time back on.

OK, how about this then:

On the watch, under Settings/Clock - scroll to the bottom. The toggle for "Set Timezone Automatically" might be greyed out and the wrong time zone might be listed there?

If that is the case, on the iPhone, turn off Screen time for the family member:

Settings/Screen time/ scroll down to select family member / Turn off Screen Time

After a moment, it should be possible to set the time zone on the watch.

Then turn on Screen Time again, and hopefully everything still works...?

Hiya, thanks for the reply. Yes it’s a family set up but my iPhone is set to the london time zone and the right time whereas the watch won’t change from la. Apparently this is a common problem ? Just don’t know how to sort it 😢
