My phone is Iphone Xr and my charger is 5W.

My question is that can I charge my phone with 20W ipad Charger or it hurts my battery?

You can use the 20W or larger power adapters without harming your battery.

You can use Apple USB power adapters for iPad and Mac notebooks to charge iPhone, iPod, Apple Watch, AirPods, and other Apple products.
