A little hard to advise and help you when you provide NO information about your iPad.
Here are my questions to you.
What year and model iPad do you have/own?
The “A” model number can be found on the aluminium back of your iPad, in small print, right under the larger bold print “iPad”.
What iOS/iPadOS version is this iPad, currently, running?
Please attempt to answer all questions asked.
Thank You.
Okay.
That’s a 2017 iPad 5th generation.
Have you tried a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons?
I am trying to figure out if this iPad is old, or not, and if this a hardware issue that cannot be fixed by a simple device reset, if this is an old iPad, it is NOT worth trying to repair.
It is a model A1823
Can you, please, confirm what year and model iPad you own per my previous request.
Also, does your 2017 iPad 5th gen have a screen protector on it?
