Bootcamp Control Panel : Window application installer?

My windows became corrupted and I had to do a major repair - it kept all my documents, however, I lost all my applications in the process. I can run Bootcamp with no problem, however, I am missing the Bootcamp Control Panel.

Is there a way to install the control panel through a Windows application installer?

What is the current macOS version your iMac?

Also, I downloaded the BC drivers again, and I do not get .7748, but .7866.

Using Mac model: iMacPro1,1.

Model supported in package distribution file at http://swcdn.apple.com/content/downloads/48/61/061-97204/zjcotww2iqibyvy6wbx3q9d50ca4lhig85/061-97204.English.dist.

Distribution 061-97204 supports the following models: iMacPro1,1, iMac19,1, iMac19,2, iMac18,2, iMac18,3.

Making directory iMacPro1.1/BootCamp-061-97204..

Fetching Boot Camp product at URL http://swcdn.apple.com/content/downloads/48/61/061-97204/zjcotww2iqibyvy6wbx3q9d50ca4lhig85/BootCampESD.pkg.

Extracting Payload...

Extracted to iMacPro1.1/BootCamp-061-97204/WindowsSupport.dmg.

Done.

You should also get .7866. Can you move the current drivers package to a backup directory, and re-download the drivers again?

You can download drivers for your Mac using step 3 under Download the Windows support software section, which looks like....

Once you have downloaded the drivers, you can install individual drivers. If you have installed AMD drivers from bootcampdrivers.com, you can re-install them, if necessary.

You can also extract individual drivers using 7Zip, if you want to.

I did a search in windows and i do not have The AppleControlPanele.exe. I searched online to see if i could just download that program and was able to download and run the Apple Software Update.exe and ran this. I updated all the available files and restarted windows a few time to take effect.

It seems like i am up to date right now, however I still do not have the option to select Restart to MacOS... i assume this is the Apple Control Panele.exe you are referring to?

Can you edit Bootcamp.xml in a Text editor and post the lines which look similar to

		<ProductManufacturer>Apple Inc.</ProductManufacturer>

		<ProductVersion>6.1.7866</ProductVersion>

		<ProductCode>{FCFFE6B6-BAE8-490E-88D0-097A9DA1C43D}</ProductCode>

See when are boot camp drivers going to be up… - Apple Community. You need the AppleControlPanel.exe executable. Does this file currently exist on your Windows partition?

When I go to the link I do not see a "Windows application" - just the macOS applications that create a flash drive of apps.

Is there an option when you are already logged into Windows desktop and you just download the control panel (a Windows installer app)? O

I am using a version of www.bootcampdrivers.com and do not want to lose this setup with the mac installing all the older graphic drivers.

Thanks for your help,

Brian

If I run the Setup file, I get the message:

"This version of Boot Camp is not intended for this computer model."

I have tried this in as Admin access.

If I go to the Driver/Apple and select the BootCamp Windows Installer Package, I get the message:

"This installation requires elevated privileges. Launch the Installer through setup.exe"

I does not give me the access to run as admin .
