Issues with iPhone 12 calendar

Help! My calendar in the view by day/date on my iPhone shows the event a day early but when I click on the event to see additional details it shows the correct date. In the traditional calendar view events are on the correct date. See first image for events for Monday, Jul 19 in the view by day/date and the see Tuesday, Jul 20 in the traditional calendar view. Can anyone make sense of this?
