i’ll be scrolling through a thread on twitter, leave the app for 5 seconds to change a song on spotify, then open twitter up again and loads up the beginning of the home timeline. i saw answers online saying “ermm it’s because of RAM, duh 🤓” but no actual solutions. i’d like to know how to fix it because it’s extremely aggravating and my phone only started doing this recently after a year of using it normally.

Understood. Is this occurring in any native apps on the device? We ask because the app developer would determine whether the behavior you're experiencing is expected or not.
If the behavior appears to be isolated to third-party apps on your device, your best bet is contacting them to report it.
