Show file location in finder from opened file

On previous mac OS versions I always used to click on the file icon in the title bar from an opened file, to see the location of that file in Finder (a dropdown box with a folder structure would pop out). However, since Big Sur, that option is gone. I used that option a lot, so it would be great to know if this is still possible in any way.

So, in short: I want to go to the finder location of an opened file (e.g. a PDF in Preview) with one or a few clicks.

The capability has not been removed.

However, you have always had to cmd+click on the title to get the popup menu of the path.

In Pages v11.1 or Preview on macOS 11.4, I can simply move the mouse pointer over the title bar to get the down symbol that allows one to click on that to expose the current folder location. And Barney-15E's suggestion for ⌘+click when the pointer is over the filename — also drops down a hierarchy panel showing the (clickable) path component names to the document.

Are you using a keyboard remapping or keyboard shortcut tool that may have altered the result above?
